# View device information

Devices provide detailed information about their status and configuration, including:

* Alarm and contact status: facilitates centralized monitoring.

* Current software version and preloaded software versions that are ready to deploy: enables centralized software upgrade.

* Network interfaces: displays IP and ASI/SDI interfaces.
