# Get a version of a configuration by hash or by tag.

GET https://app.mk.io/api/v1/projects/{project_name}/templating/configs/{config_type}/{name}/versions/{version}

Return the version of the configuration which has the given name and hash, or name and tag, or an error if that combination does not exist.

## Authentication

### ConfigGetSpec

- `config` (map from string to any, optional) — The contents of the config.
- `parameters` (list of ConfigParameterSchema, optional) — Parameters exposed by this configuration.

### ConfigGetStatus

- `inputPins` (list of ConfigPinSchema, optional) — Available input pin names for this template.
- `outputPins` (list of ConfigPinSchema, optional) — Available output pin names for this template.

### ErrorDetail

- `code` (string, required) — The error code.
- `detail` (string, required) — The error message.
- `extraDetail` (map from string to any, optional) — Extra information regarding this error.

### ConfigParameterSchema

- `name` (string, required) — The name of the parameter.
- `paths` (list of string, required) — List of paths in the config where this parameter applies. Each path must be unique.
- `description` (string, optional, nullable) — Optional description of the parameter.

### ConfigPinSchema

- `name` (string, required) — The pin name to use for transformInput or transformOutput.
- `allowMultipleBindings` (boolean, optional) — Whether multiple flow inputs/outputs can reference this pin.
