# Update profile

PUT https://app.mk.io/api/profile/
Content-Type: application/json

This endpoint allows certain fields within the profile to be updated.

Requires authentication; no additional RBAC permissions required.

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — Bearer authentication of the form `Bearer <token>`, where token is your auth token.

This endpoint expects a ProfilePutSchema.

- `customer_id` (string, required) — Primary customer relationship.
- `customers` (map from string to string, required) — Customers.
- `is_active` (boolean, required) — Is this user active?
- `is_admin` (boolean, required) — Is this user a global administrator?
- `jobrole` (string, required, nullable) — Job Role.
- `name` (string, required) — Full name.
- `phonenumber` (string, required) — Phone number including international dialling code
- `signup_problem` (string, required, nullable) — Issues with signing up to MK.IO?

### UserMetadata

- `id` (string, required) — The unique identifier of the user.

### ErrorDetail

- `code` (string, required) — The error code.
- `detail` (string, required) — The error message.
- `extraDetail` (map from string to any, optional) — Extra information regarding this error.
