# Migrating from Harmonic docs

MediaKind completed its merger with Harmonic's video business on
**17 June 2026**. Harmonic Inc. retains its broadband business; the video
portfolio — VOS, ProStream, ProView, CP9000, Polaris Play, and the rest — moved
to MediaKind and is documented on this site.

## What moved where

| Formerly | Now |
| ------------------------------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| VOS public API reference | [VOS API](/harmonic/api/vos) |
| VOS developer API reference | Available on request — see the note below |
| ProStream X, ProView, CP9000, RD9000 | Product documentation, this site |
| Polaris Play, Scheduler360, DMS | Product documentation, this site |
| MediaKind mk.io, Beam, NMX | Unchanged — [mk.io](/mkio/getting-started), [Beam](/beam/quick-start) |

## What this does not change

Nothing about the VOS wire API changed as a result of the merger. Base paths,
payloads, and version numbers are unaffected — only where they are documented.
Existing integrations keep working.

## SDK coverage

The MediaKind SDKs cover the **VOS public API** (425 operations). The broader VOS
developer API — roughly 1,371 operations, largely internal and engineering-facing
— is deliberately out of scope so the published clients stay focused and fast to
install.

> **Note**
>
> If you integrate against the VOS developer API and want SDK coverage for it,
> talk to your MediaKind contact. It can be added as an additional namespace.
